Please Help Boo and Wally!

Dear TFPF Supporters,

May you please forward our plea wide and far? We need H-E-L-P! We are raising $2500 to fly out two star-crossed canine lovers, Boo and Wally, from Los Angeles to NYC where they will be in their forever home… TOGETHER!

Boo (a Pit Bull) and Wally (a Chihuahua) were dumped at a very high-kill Southern California shelter by their owners who no longer wanted them. For many days and months, Boo and Wally waited behind bars, hoping for a forever family to scoop them up and take them home… TOGETHER. They were even deemed as “shelter favorites” and “super-stars” for their sweet and calm demeanor.

Sadly, no one adopted them and their time was up at this shelter. The shelter planned to put to sleep Boo and adopt out Wally since he was small, compact, and more “desirable than a Pit Bull.” This decision later turned out to be disastrous as both dogs nearly starved themselves to death and got depressed from being torn apart from each other. Wally was returned by his new adopters, and Boo and Wally were reunited once again at this shelter.

On August 3, 2011, The Fuzzy Pet Foundation bailed them out, seconds before they were euthanized, and the rest is history… TFPF has secured a loving, stable family of five who will be adopting both Boo and Wally! The husband is the Captain of NYPD, a Harvard graduate, who adores Pit Bulls, and the wife and three daughters are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their new fuzzy companions. We are now doing our share of the work by raising the needed funds in the amount of $2500 to purchase plane tickets via Pet Airways, cage-free boarding until their departure date, vet expenses to obtain health certificates, and food and supplies.
